Just wanted to pop over and say how much I appreciated your thoughts. I made a "promise" last year, to post one positive news story a day. I finally had to stop because there were so many naysayers poking holes in the things I was posting. A child was rescued from near-death: Well, why was the kid there in the first place - damned parents! A charity has been established to help rehabilitate abused animals: Why is there no charity for abused kids? Why don't we just shoot the jerks responsible? etc. etc. You get my point. Now I'm finally getting back to posting positive news stories as often as I can, but oftentimes I preface them (or postscript them) with a warning to the negative nellies not to even start with their crap cuz I don't want to hear it. haha.
Anyway, I'm a bit tangential. But .. yay for you! That's what I really wanted to say. :) |
